The annual Spring East Islip Craft & Gift Fair is back! Held outdoors on the East Islip District Grounds, exhibitors will be selling handmade and self-designed crafts, along with great gifts and retail items from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 20.
“It is an annual event with a very good cause and fantastic exhibitors, which will range from wonderful, one-of-a-kind jewelry to photography and textiles,” explained Cathy DePasquale from Depas Market, who has organized the event for almost 40 years. “There is also a ladies boutique, and exhibitors sell fantastic apparel and jewelry. There are great home decor spring items there, so it is an opportunity to update your wardrobe, update your household, and have a great bite to eat.”
Fat Boys BBQ, Bad Smoothies, and Brothers Lemonade food trucks will be selling refreshments, along with gourmet food vendors selling honey, jams, pretzels, and more.
Depas Market has organized fundraisers for nonprofit organizations for over 40 years. The annual Spring East Islip Craft & Gift Fair will benefit The East Islip Special Education PTO (SEPTO). SEPTO is a network of parents and interested parties who join together to support and recognize the challenges in parenting and educating children with different abilities and needs. The overall purpose of SEPTO is to make every child’s potential a reality throughout the East Islip School District.
