Looking for inexpensive bling for that great dress?
What about a nice present for mom you can afford?
Friends of Sayville Library will be hosting 300 jewelry items for sale from $1 to $50 in the ground floor lobby of the library on Friday, Dec. 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Pandora and Brighton pieces will be in the mix as well as marcasite, copper, and silver bracelets, necklaces and earrings.
“A lot comes from senior people who have outgrown the items,” explained Friends of Sayville Library president Lorraine Martin. “We even have watches. They’re $5 each because they may need batteries or parts.”
Martin explained the Friends group is selling the items to raise funds for unbudgeted items needed in the library.
So, you’ll be doing a good deed with your purchase.
Also, you won’t have to look for them the day of.
“We’ll be right in the lobby,” Martin said. “You walk in the door, and we’ll grab you!”
