Save the Great South Bay's Oyster Ball

Posted

Save the Great South Bay will be holding their first annual Oyster Ball to be hosted by Phil and Victoria Boyle, Kevin McCaffery, Danielle Campbell, Stephanie Racanelli, Gregg and Mitchell Rechler, Todd J. Shaw, and Rhianna Quinn Roddy.

The elegant evening celebration will be in effort to restore local waterways and in honor of Edward P. Romaine, the Suffolk County executive. New York State Sen. Monica Martinez will also be the recipient of the Environmental Stewardship Award.

“People should go because they love the bay and want to see it restored for future generations to enjoy,” said Robyn Silvestri, executive director.

The event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 1, from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Mansion at Timber Point in Great River. Tickets are $150 and will include cocktails, dinner, dancing and live music.
