Overnight Closures on Eastbound Sunrise Highway (State Route 27) in the Towns of Islip and Brookhaven, Suffolk County

The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists that eastbound Sunrise Highway (State Route 27) will be closed between Exit 49 (Lakeland Avenue/Suffolk County Route 93) in the Town of Islip and Exit 54 (Hospital Road) in the Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County, nightly between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., beginning Monday night, June 10, and concluding on Friday morning, June 14, weather permitting, to facilitate a bridge cleaning project.

Vehicles will be detoured onto South Service Road during these closures.
