Northwell's immediate care centers on Fire Island open for Memorial Day weekend

Northwell Health is reopening health care services at three of its Fire Island locations, just in time for the summer season.

The Northwell Health Immediate Care Centers in Ocean Beach Village, Cherry Grove hamlet and Saltaire Village will be open starting on Friday, May 28, through Labor Day weekend. The three clinics were unveiled in June of 2020.

A medical professional will be available at each of these locations six days a week from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Patients requiring additional treatment outside of those hours can seek emergency assistance. 

COVID-19 protocols will remain in place at all three clinics and masks will be required to enter.

Additionally, on Saturday, May 29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. there will be a vaccination clinic at the Cherry Grove Community House. The Johnson & Johnson one-dose vaccine will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
