This year, Patrick “PJ” Balzer and his wife Catherine Gutierrez, of The Kings Kids Christian Outreach in Mastic Beach, provided meals for those in need this Thanksgiving. He and his wife and a few volunteers delivered 250 frozen turkeys to people throughout the community that they have been helping for years, as well as knocking on random doors in between with a turkey in hand. They served hot meal trays to families placed by DSS living in local motels, specifically in Shirley and Smith Point. To help their cause visit: https://www.gofundme.com/f/cescsa-change-for-change.
