On Saturday, Jan. 21, Operation VEST hosted their second annual 22° Run and Plunge at Walker Beach in Brightwaters. The event featured a 2.2-mile run/walk and a polar plunge into the Great South Bay. Local organization Operation VEST works to eradicate veteran suicide by creating awareness and removing the stigma surrounding mental health.
