Islip eighth-grader Gavin Connell and 11th-grader Adyna Morreale, one of the few two-handed female bowlers, are Islip High School varsity bowlers and brother and sister. The duo is now heading to the National Youth Junior Gold Bowling Competition in Grand Rapids, Mich. The competition, with the best of the best youth bowlers from all over the U.S., starts Monday, July 18.
