The graduating Patchogue-Medford High School (PMHS) Class of 2024 celebrated their prom in spectacular fashion, as the Patchogue Village’s Main Street was transformed into a wonderful prom venue for the evening of June 3.

Students arrived in style. Accompanied by a fire truck escort, students stepped off buses onto Oak Street, where they were greeted by enthusiastic friends and family.

The atmosphere was electric, with Walk 97.5 radio station playing music with a luxurious red carpet leading the way to the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts. As the students exited the theater onto Main Street, they were treated to a festive scene.

The area between Maple and Ocean avenues was lined with vendor tents, offering food from local favorites such as Bobbique, Del Fuego, and That Meetball Place.

Adding a personal touch to the festivities, the Patchogue-Medford Library honored the graduates by displaying the names of all the seniors in their front window.

The prom marked a memorable evening for the seniors, offering a joyous sendoff to their upcoming graduation ceremony. The Class of 2024 is set to receive their diplomas on Tuesday, June 25, at 7 p.m., ready to embark on the next chapter of their lives.

As the evening ended, the sense of community and pride in Patchogue was clear. The village had come together to create an evening the graduating Class of 2024 would cherish forever.
