Unified T-Birds host basketball game and student fair

Posted

On April 15, Connetquot High School’s unified T-Birds played East Islip in a competitive game of basketball.

Outside of the gymnasium, artwork from Connetquot High School’s life skills art classes lined the hallways. Additionally, there were student-made items for sale such as tie-dye socks, beaded bracelets, snacks and delicious baked goods. All profits made from the fair were donated to the SEPTA scholarship fund.

Ahead of the game, Sycamore Avenue Elementary students signed the national anthem, using American Sign Language. All in all, the event was a great opportunity for Connetquot students and families to come together for a great cause.
