Based on the biography “Max Perkins: Editor of Genius” (1978) by A. Scott Berg and adapted for the screen (2016) by British Playwright John Logan, this film tells the story of two geniuses who worked together editor-in-chief at Scribner (1920s), Max Perkins (Colin Firth) and over-exuberant novelist Thomas Wolfe (Jude Law).
