Angels of Long Island, the outreach charity in East Patchogue, is looking for support from the community. Their thrift store is closed due to COVID-19, but leaders are still doing outreach with the community, making sure people in need can get what they require—and they’re busier than ever. They plan on doing another grab-and-go outreach event the last Wednesday of the month, with a time to be announced. The nonprofit is not eligible for grants and all members are volunteers.

You can support the charity by dropping off nonperishables Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and noon, or give a monetary donation. You can send money through Pay- Pal to angelsoflongisland@outlook.com, through their website, www.angelsoflongisland.com, or by mail to 350-23 East Main Street, Patchogue, NY 11772.

Those in need can participate in Angels of Long Island’s drive-through grab-and-go event, where they will receive a bag of groceries and personal hygiene items. For more information, visit www.angelsoflongisland.com or visit them on Facebook.
