Believe it or not, it’s that time of year again. The grand marshals have been announced for local St. Patrick’s Day parades.
The Bay Shore-Brightwaters parade will take place on March 11 at 2 p.m. This year’s grand marshal is Donna Moravick. Moravick, RN, NP, MBA, is the executive director of South Shore University Hospital. According to the parade website, Moravick joined North Shore University Hospital in 1981 as a staff nurse in the surgical intensive care unit. She received her undergraduate degree from Fairleigh University, her master’s degree in nursing from Stony Brook University, and her master’s degree in business administration from Hofstra. She and her husband, Patrick, reside in Babylon. Their two sons and their wives live in Suffolk County, as does the newest addition to their family, a grandson.
