Isabella Rossellini film discussion at Plaza Cinema


Watch “Marcel The Shell With Shoes On,” an adorable animated film, join Isabella Rossellini, who voices the grandmother, in the post-film discussion, and support Plaza Cinema & Media Arts Center via this fundraiser on Wednesday, July 6 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $75, members $60. The theatre is located at 20 Terry Street in Patchogue.

Here’s the film synopsis: Marcel is an adorable 1-inch-tall shell who ekes out a colorful existence with his grandmother, Connie (Isabella Rossellini), and their pet lint, Alan. Once part of a sprawling community of shells, they now live alone as the sole survivors of a mysterious tragedy. But when a documentary filmmaker discovers them amongst the clutter of his Airbnb, the short film he posts online brings Marcel millions of passionate fans, as well as unprecedented dangers and a new hope of finding his long-lost family.
