On Saturday, March 22 at 12 p.m., Momo’s Too on 667 Montauk Highway in Bayport will be hosting their eighth annual St. Baldrick’s fundraiser.
In the near 10-year span, Momo’s Too has raised over $240,000.
This year’s goal is $40,000 and at time of print was at $36,000.
Owners Rich and Tracey Comunale are hopeful to pass the original goal with supporters coming in on Saturday.
“We are incredibly grateful for people’s courageous decision to shave their head in support of children battling cancer. The commitment not only raises crucial funds but also spreads awareness and shows solidarity with those who need it most,” said Rich.
“By participating in this event, you’re joining a passionate group of individuals dedicated to finding cures and providing hope to young cancer fighters. Your bravery and compassion are truly inspiring, and we can’t wait to see the impact you’ll make,” said Tracey.
For the past six months, bartenders and regular patrons have had a “friendly” competition, dividing into teams to raise the most donations.
