The William Floyd High School varsity girls soccer team picked up their third win of the season with a strong 5-2 victory over Bellport on Friday, Sept. 16, in a home game at the Lincoln Avenue Sports Complex. The Colonials controlled the game as Kaitlyn Vlacich started the scoring for William Floyd, and the girls never looked back. Kayla Gilmore tallied two-straight goals of her own for the Colonials as they seized control of the game. Then, in the second half, Vlacich and Kayden Meyer tacked on insurance goals for the Colonials, securing the 5-2 victory! William Floyd is now 2-0-1 in league play and 3-1-3 overall on the season.
