Even the shop owners got into it

The Disney characters mostly made the day in Bellport on Saturday, with tulle, tiaras and color.

Some fairy dust was floating in the ether, too.

There were Anna and Elsa from “Frozen”; the Gugliottis came as Superman and a witch. There was a scary adult Frankenstein (Frank Barker). Skye Ritance went all out as Axolotl. A touch of the 12th century appeared with Russ and Sharon McCarthy dressed as Sir Lancelot and a witch, but Adelaide McCarthy twirled as Belle from “Beauty and the Beast.”

As for storefront owners raising the bar, Giovanni Naso of Bellport Apothecary with Sharon Munson posed as an otherworldly Mother and Father Earth couple as they gave out candy.
