Fire districts across Long Island held their annual elections on Tuesday, Dec. 14. Below are the compiled results.
CENTER MORICHES FD
John DeLong ran unopposed and was elected to a five-year term as did Ed Stypulkowski who was elected to a one-year term to finish out seat vacated earlier this year.
EAST MORICHES FD
Incumbent Michael Mazarakis was reelected with 81 votes. He ran unopposed.
MANORVILLE FD
Jay Naurek ran against Frank Governale for a five-year term winning with 201 votes to Governale’s 156. Also, Kenneth Mclean ran against Michael Vetack for a two-year term seat winning with 198 votes to Vetack’s 149.
